Proceedings
The deadline for submission of CGSW 21 proceedings papers from all participants is
Tuesday, August 1, 2006!
The CGSW 21 proceedings will be published by
John Benjamins in the
Linguistik Aktuell/Linguistics Today series edited by Werner Abraham and Elly van Gelderen. Proceedings paper submissions must conform to the
submission guidelines for contributors to collective volumes published by John Benjamins (Microsoft .DOC file, 56KB). Depending on the reviewers' turnaround time and the revisions necessary, the volume could be released sometime in early 2007 or summer 2007.
Please adhere closely to the guidelines from Benjamins when revising your papers to save time in the reviewing process later on. The guidelines also provide information about what happens to your paper once the final version is submitted (how the Benjamins typesetters treat discrepancies between hard copy and electronic copy, etc.). Papers should run around 8000 words (and should definitely not exceed 10000 words) and should consistently use American spellings.
Please submit your papers to us as described in the guidelines
both electronically (all files may be sent either as an email attachment to
cgsw@ling.ucsc.edu or on disk or CD, preferably in an archive if there are a lot of files containing figures and such)
and in hard copy format (to: CGSW 21 Organizers, UCSC Dept. of Linguistics, 1156 High Street, Santa Cruz CA 95064, USA).
