This will be the last WHASC of the quarter. It is also the last issue
for interim editor Laura McShane. I would like to take this opportunity
to say how much I've enjoyed working in the Linguistics Department for
the last four months. Thanks to Tanya and Connie for proofreading WHASC
for me and generally being wonderful to work with, and thanks to everyone
for making me feel right at home. If you ever find yourself across campus
at Oakes College, stop by room 229 and say hello. Or look for me onstage
if you attend an orchestra or wind ensemble concert here on campus (and
who knows-maybe one day the New York Philharmonic.)
Best of luck to all of you. The next WHASC will be the January 7 issue,
with Connie Creel once again at the helm.
