In the first two courses, you considered general architectural issues of semantic theory: argument structure, quantification, modality, presupposition, implicature, etc. This course gives students the opportunity to explore important topics with heavy emphasis placed on reading primary- source literature, and to explore specific topics in more depth.Prerequisites: Ling 116 (Semantics Two) General Education Code: None
